Wealth Growth Advisor

Serv, a global executive recruitment partner, is hiring on behalf of our client Waystone Advisors for a Wealth Growth Advisor.

Join the Team:

Most financial firms are built around one finish line: retirement at 65. Save enough, wait long enough, and eventually you may have the freedom to stop working.

Waystone Advisors believes there’s a better way.

Founded in 2012, Waystone is built around the belief that financial independence isn’t a retirement date, it’s about creating the freedom to make work optional. They help high earners, including physicians, pilots, tech professionals, entrepreneurs, and real estate investors, build wealth and passive income with the goal of achieving that freedom years, or even decades, earlier.

As an independent, SEC-registered firm, Waystone answers to its clients rather than a traditional product shelf. This allows the team to bring together traditional investments with alternative strategies, including real estate, giving clients access to opportunities historically more common among the ultra-wealthy.

Their mission is simple: make your money work harder than you do.

Waystone believes financial independence may be closer than many people realize. Every advisor on the team plays a direct role in helping clients see what’s possible and build a strategy to get there.

Position Responsibilities:

Getting a client started is one thing. Helping them continue moving toward financial independence as their life, goals and opportunities evolve is where a great financial plan becomes reality.

As a Wealth Growth Advisor, your role is to create that momentum.

You’ll work with existing Waystone clients to review their progress, evolve their financial strategy and identify opportunities to accelerate their path toward financial independence. As income changes, new investments become available or life takes a different direction, you’ll help clients understand what those changes mean and determine the next right move.

This role is for an advisor who gets genuinely excited about deepening client relationships over time. You aren’t simply maintaining a book of business. You’re helping clients continue to expand what’s possible with their wealth.

This role includes:

  • Conduct ongoing client reviews, assessing progress toward financial independence goals and identifying opportunities to accelerate timelines.
  • Adapt and evolve client plans as their income, risk tolerance, investment access and life circumstances change.
  • Proactively introduce clients to alternative investment strategies and tools as they become relevant to their plan.
  • Serve as the primary advisor for assigned clients, providing timely, proactive communication and responding within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and understand how their goals and financial picture evolve over time.
  • Collaborate with the broader advisory team to ensure clients have access to the full depth of Waystone’s capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Waystone’s work with existing clients as their needs grow, including referrals.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, meeting notes and client files.
  • Represent Waystone’s core values of Authenticity, Integrity, Innovation, Excellence and Community in every client interaction.

Success in this role means clients don’t simply stay on track. They continue to see new possibilities, make informed decisions and move closer to the point where work becomes optional.

Qualifications

  • Active Series 65 and Life & Health Insurance licenses required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management or a client-facing advisory role.
  • Experience managing ongoing client relationships and evolving financial plans as clients’ circumstances change.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable leading thoughtful, consultative client conversations without relying on a script.
  • Skilled at building trusted relationships and understanding each client’s goals, priorities and financial picture.
  • Able to proactively identify opportunities to improve or evolve a client’s financial strategy.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide consistent, timely follow-up.
  • Proactive and dependable, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working independently, managing priorities and determining next steps.
  • Able to think beyond traditional financial planning approaches and develop strategies tailored to each client’s needs.

Our Ideal Teammate Is Someone Who:

  • Is confident without being arrogant
  • Is naturally curious and highly coachable
  • Leaves their ego outside the meeting
  • Knows how to teach rather than simply tell
  • Can make complicated financial ideas feel clear and actionable
  • Builds relationships for the long term rather than treating client interactions as transactions
  • Notices when something has changed in a client’s financial picture and proactively identifies the next right move
  • Is comfortable respectfully challenging a client when their actions aren't aligned with the goals they've established
  • Communicates quickly and consistently
  • Takes ownership of the client experience
  • Is energized by a high-growth environment
  • Believes financial planning can do more than prepare someone to retire
  • Wants to build something meaningful with a team challenging the traditional way of doing things
  • Genuinely enjoys seeing a client’s plan evolve and helping them accelerate their progress toward financial independence

The strongest fit may be an advisor who believes an ongoing client relationship should be about more than an annual review.

You know that great financial advice evolves. A strategy that made sense 18 months ago may need to change as income grows, life shifts or new opportunities become available. You’re the person who notices those moments and helps the client act on them.

If that sounds familiar, Waystone wants to meet you.
