Senior Sales Account Manager, Loblaws

Serv, a global executive recruitment partner, is hiring on behalf of our client Evermark for a Senior Sales Account Manager, Loblaws.

Join the Team:

Evermark is a newly formed beauty and personal care company bringing together a portfolio of iconic, everyday brands with enormous reach and untapped potential: Suave, ChapStick, Q-tips, Caress, St. Ives, TIGI Bed Head, Noxzema, Pond's, and Lever 2000. These are brands people know, trust, and use daily — and we are building their next chapter.

Backed by growth-oriented YellowWood Partners, we operate with speed, focus, and accountability. Our goal is simple: modernize these brands, accelerate growth, and build a company that consistently outperforms expectations. That means sharpening strategy, raising the bar on execution, and making smart, decisive moves across the enterprise — from how we plan and operate to how we go to market.

This is a company in motion. We are scaling quickly, building new capabilities, and creating the operating model as we go. For the right people, that means rare access, real influence, and the opportunity to help shape not just a role, but a company.

Position Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Sales, Canada, the Senior Sales Account Manager owns the Loblaws enterprise relationship end-to-end — across all banners including Loblaws, No Frills, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Independent/Franchise building senior-level customer relationships and driving mutual, profitable growth against annual sales, trade, and profitability targets. This is a highly visible, strategic role with direct influence on Evermark's largest national account.

This role includes:

  • Own the Loblaws enterprise relationship end-to-end, across all banners and formats
  • Build and lead relationships with Loblaws buying, merchandising, and marketing teams
  • Lead annual planning with Brand, Finance, and Supply Chain to align with Loblaws' strategic priorities
  • Develop and lead execution of the National Joint Business Plan (JBP) with Loblaws
  • Own volume and revenue delivery, forecast accuracy, and disciplined trade spend management for the Loblaws business
  • Drive trade investment effectiveness and year-over-year efficiency gains
  • Lead Category Management initiatives with Loblaws, including assortment, space, and planogram strategy
  • Represent Evermark in negotiations and executive business reviews
  • Manage customer financials from contract creation through deduction resolution
  • Serve as the key point of contact across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring flawless execution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, or related field
  • 8+ years of relevant sales experience, including direct Loblaws account management; CPG experience required
  • Prior experience managing enterprise-level or national key accounts
  • Proven business management experience with Loblaws or a comparable major Canadian national retailer (Loblaws experience strongly preferred)
  • Strategic thinker with strong relationship-building, collaboration, and influencing skills at senior/executive levels
  • Strong analytical skills — able to translate data into action
  • Highly organized, self-starting, and comfortable navigating complexity in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent presentation and executive communication skills

Our Ideal Teammate Is Someone Who:

  • Is proactive, accountable, and takes ownership of results
  • Thinks strategically and uses data to build effective business plans
  • Has a strong understanding of category management, shopper marketing, and shopper insights
  • Collaborates effectively across marketing, finance, supply chain, and R&D
  • Operates with urgency and a results-oriented mindset
  • Holds high personal standards and is committed to continuous growth and development
  • Represents the Evermark portfolio with confidence and professionalism
  • Communicates clearly and effectively, with strong written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Is comfortable influencing without hierarchy and navigating ambiguity
  • Takes initiative, drives progress, and thrives in a fast-moving environment

We look for people who take ownership, move with urgency, and care deeply about results. Success here comes from thinking like an operator — not waiting to be told what to do, but seeing what needs to happen and driving it forward. You should be comfortable working across teams, influencing without hierarchy, and making progress even when the path isn't perfectly defined.

This is a fast-moving environment with high standards and real accountability. In return, you'll have meaningful responsibility, autonomy to lead your work, and the opportunity to grow alongside brands — and a company — that are being actively shaped.
