Our client, Ironwood Homes Inc., is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead its electrical assembly team at its modular construction facility in Woodstock, New Brunswick. This is a full-time, permanent position at 41.5 hours per week.

OVERVIEW

The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for leading a crew of licensed electricians and electrical assemblers to safely and efficiently install and test electrical systems in factory-built modular units. This role carries ownership over quality, schedule adherence, and cost control, ensuring compliance with applicable electrical codes and company standards at every stage of production.


This role is ideal for a hands-on trades professional who is equally comfortable reviewing schematics on a workbench and having a tough conversation with a team member who needs redirection.


HIGHLIGHTED DUTIES

  • Assign tasks and balance crew workloads to meet daily production targets.
  • Coach, mentor, and performance-manage team members; conduct toolbox talks and ongoing skills training.
  • Review plan sets for accuracy prior to assembly.
  • Ensure correct installation from shop drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable codes throughout all stages of the work.
  • Complete quality control checks at defined production milestones.
  • Uphold and enforce safe work practices across the team at all times.
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements to efficiency and output quality.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Licensed Electrician with a minimum of 5 years of field experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience leading electrical crews.
  • Working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and electrical installation best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proven experience with quality assurance processes and electrical testing tools.
  • Strong safety leadership track record.
  • Experience in modular or prefabricated construction is considered a strong asset.
