Our partner, PMC Energy, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join its team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a dedicated HVAC professional ready to make a real impact on energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and multi-family residential buildings.

OVERVIEW

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and functionality of HVAC systems across commercial and multi-family residential buildings. You'll perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics while delivering exceptional service and contributing to PMC Energy's mission of outstanding, environmentally responsible energy solutions.

This role is ideal for a skilled technician with 5+ years of journeyman experience who takes pride in quality workmanship, has strong diagnostic abilities, and is passionate about energy efficiency and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform HVAC system service work, including maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics in commercial and multi-family residential buildings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to industry codes, safety regulations, and company standards to ensure safe and compliant service work.
• Maintain accurate records of service work, including parts used and hours worked.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician with 5+ years as a journeyman.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC system issues.
• Air conditioning and refrigeration license required.
• Gas certification considered an asset.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and industry standards.
• Positive and proactive approach to work, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
