As Luminultra continues to expand its presence in the Oil & Gas sector, the organization is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support customer growth, strengthen client relationships, and expand its market presence across key industrial accounts.
This remote opportunity is ideally suited to a candidate based in the Houston, Texas area.
Overview
The Account Manager, Oil & Gas, will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while supporting and growing existing customer accounts throughout the energy sector. This role serves as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them identify solutions to operational challenges in microbial monitoring, asset integrity, corrosion management, and overall system performance.
The successful candidate will combine strong relationship-building skills with a technical sales mindset and a passion for helping customers achieve results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular engagement and business reviews
- Understand customer needs and recommend solutions that align with their operational goals
- Support customer onboarding and product adoption through training and education
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate customer records within the CRM
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives where appropriate
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events as required
- Stay informed on industry trends, customer challenges, and market developments
Experience & Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of technical sales experience within Oil & Gas, industrial services, chemical treatment, water treatment, corrosion management, or a related industry
- Demonstrated success in developing new business and growing customer accounts
- Experience working with upstream, midstream, downstream, or industrial processing customers is considered an asset
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activities and customer information
- A proactive, self-directed approach with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 USD
