On behalf of our client, ImagineAbility Inc., we are seeking a dedicated and proactive Program Manager, Support Services. Reporting to the Director, Operations, this role is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of support services, ensuring high-quality, person-centered programming aligned with individual plans, organizational standards, and legislative requirements. The Program Manager provides leadership to Direct Support Professionals, oversees program operations, and works closely with families, community partners, and other stakeholders to support positive outcomes.

 

As the Program Manager, you will:

  • Lead daily program operations across facility and community settings, ensuring programs are organized, meaningful, person-centered, and aligned with individual support plans.
  • Supervise, coach, develop, and support Direct Support Professionals while fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, staffing, scheduling, documentation, and reporting to ensure effective program delivery, operational continuity, and appropriate service coverage.
  • Facilitate team huddles, meetings, and operational briefings to communicate priorities, expectations, and support problem-solving.
  • Work with the Director of Operations and fellow Program Managers to strengthen programs, improve processes, and maintain consistent service standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals supported, families, Community Social Workers, schools, government agencies, and community partners.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legislation, health and safety requirements, and risk management practices.

 

You and Your Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience, with a demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentorship, employee development, and performance management.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Services or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to balance operational oversight, staff support, administrative priorities, and program improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation, sector standards, and best practices.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, community partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges, make informed decisions, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Valid driver's licence required. NCI, First Aid, and CPR certifications are considered assets.
  • Clear Criminal Record, Adult Abuse Registry, and Child Abuse Registry checks are required.
