What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate purchasing activities to support operational and project requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and external partners.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning to support business needs.
- Track orders, delivery schedules, and supplier commitments to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order-related matters.
- Support inventory accuracy through audits, reconciliations, and ongoing data maintenance.
- Maintain purchasing and vendor information within company systems, ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply, inventory, and operational challenges.
- Assist with sourcing activities, including obtaining and evaluating supplier quotations.
- Coordinate returns, discrepancies, and issue resolution with suppliers as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the broader supply chain and operations teams as needed.
What We Require
- Post-secondary education in Business, Operations or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, operations, or coordination role.
- Experience working with business systems or ERP platforms
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Interest in continuous improvement, process optimization, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency is considered an asset.
