Our client is a well-established Ontario general contractor with nearly 50 years of success delivering commercial, industrial, institutional and design-build projects. Known for long-standing client relationships and a reputation for quality, they continue to grow throughout Southwestern Ontario and are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team.

The Opportunity

As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading multiple construction projects through every phase of delivery. You'll work closely with Superintendents, Estimators, consultants, owners and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

• Manage ICI construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and forecasts
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams
• Lead project meetings with clients and stakeholders
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts and change orders
• Monitor project costs and profitability
• Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and quality requirements
• Mentor Project Coordinators and contribute to the success of the overall team

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with an ICI general contractor
• Experience delivering commercial, industrial and/or institutional construction projects
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting and contract administration
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam or equivalent
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites within Southwestern Ontario
