Senior Project Manager (Full Site Leadership) – Affordable Housing
St. Catharines, ON (On-Site Leadership Role)
Project Mobilization: Q3 2026 | Start: Summer 2026
The Opportunity
A well-capitalized, highly respected construction group is preparing to break ground on a large-scale affordable housing development (450+ units) in the St. Catharines region.
This is not a coordination role.
This is a full-site leadership mandate for someone who knows how to take ownership—from early mobilization through to final turnover—while operating in a lean, high-accountability environment.
You’ll be stepping into a project that matters:
- Significant scale and visibility
- Community impact through affordable housing delivery
- A builder known for executing complex projects with discipline and pace
What You’ll Own
You will be the driving force behind the site.
- Full lifecycle project leadership (mobilization → occupancy)
- Site operations, scheduling, and sequencing
- Subtrade coordination and performance management
- Budget accountability, forecasting, and cost control
- Risk identification and mitigation in a live construction environment
- Client, consultant, and stakeholder interface
- Driving schedule adherence without sacrificing quality
This role requires someone who doesn’t wait for direction—you set the tone, pace, and standard.

- Proven experience running mid- to high-rise or large multi-residential builds end-to-end
- Comfortable operating with lean site support (limited coordinators, high ownership)
- Strong commercial acumen—understands cost, risk, and margin
- Ability to manage complexity, shifting priorities, and real-world site challenges
- Confident communicator with trades, consultants, and ownership groups
